Feature Matches 2/7-2/12
FA Cup 4th Round replays, Coppa Italia, and the Copa del Rey Semifinals make up our midweek football schedule this second week of February. With a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup at stake, both Tuesday and Wednesdays live matches from Englandwill be entertaining. Should either match end in a draw, they will continue on to extra time, and then PKs to decide a winner. Barcelona faceValencia on Wednesday afternoonfor a berth in the Copa Del Rey Final, and a chance for their first silverware of the year.
Our big clash of the week fires up early Saturday morning (5:45am)when Manchester United hostLiverpool in the Premiership. United will be looking to avenge their recentFA Cup loss to Liverpool, and both sides will be fighting hard to earn the three points available. This epic clash will be followed by Everton hosting Chelsea, and Arsenal traveling to Sunderland. Our late morning match pitsTottenham against Newcastle in another huge EPL fixture. With the exception of Man City, who play Sunday morning, all the teams in the hunt for the top four will be in action Saturday morning.
Sunday we open early (6:30am) for Wolves v West Brom. Things are starting to get interesting at the bottom of the table, and both of these sides are realistically fighting for their survival in the Premiership. This match is followed by league leaders Manchester City taking on Aston Villa for the 9am kickoff. The afternoon rounds out with the Africa Cup of Nations Final, and action from Serie A, La Liga, and Ligue 1.
