Feature Matches

The Gold Cup continues with Group play midweek, and the Quarterfinals on the weekend.  The USMNT have put in two stellar performances so far, and have a date with Costa Rica on Tuesday evening to decide who will win the Group.  If the USA top the Group they will play a third place team in the Quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon, if not they will face a tougher test against the winner of Group B.  Costa Rica and the United States have proven to be the class of CONCACAF, and the Ticos will be keen to revenge their loss in the Hex.  This should be one of the highlight matches of the Group Stages!

The Colorado Rapids return to action in the MLS with a home match against New England on Wednesday evening.  After pulling seven points out of a possible nine in their last three matches the Club will want to continue their good form here.  The draw with D.C. United was a bit of a let down after two huge wins, so nabbing three points at home will be critical.  Don't forget to book your spot on the shuttle from the Pub ( ), and get out to support our hometown lads!  There will be a quick turnaround, as they face Seattle away on Saturday afternoon, in a Western conference clash.  A good result away against the Sounders would be massive, considering they are breathing down our necks with a few games in hand.  The Pub will be hosting an away game viewing party, and the match will take place simultaneously to one of the Gold Cup Quarterfinals (don't worry the USA will play Sunday so there will be no conflict).

On the Horizon

The Gold Cup Semifinals fall on Wednesday evening, and the Final will be Sunday afternoon!  Colorado takes on Los Angeles at home on Saturday afternoon, with a 5pm kick off.
