Feature Matches

Early in the week the first rounds of the Capital One Cup are the lunchtime fare, and Wednesday has a Champions League Qualifier with Celtic taking on Elfsborg. The International Champions Cup, which features some of Europe's top Clubs, plays Tuesday and Wednesday evening, and then again on the weekend. Friday both Ligue 1 from France, and the Bundesliga from Germany kick off.

The Colorado Rapids brought the Rocky Mountain Cup back home last Saturday night, coming from behind twice to draw with RSL. A terrific performance for Coach Pareja's Rapids! The Club is on a seven game unbeaten run, and will attempt to continue that streak on Sunday night against Chivas USA (9pm), as they battle for first place in the Western Conference.

On the weekend we have English Championship football kicking things off at 8am on Saturday, followed by a day of MLS football. Early Sunday morning the Community Shield match between last year's EPL Champions and last year's FA Cup winners takes place. That means Manchester United will take on Wigan, for the first bit of silverware awarded in England this season. The Pub will have our Weekend Football Happy Hour for the entirety of the match, and breakfast will be served.

On the Horizon

The Colorado Rapids are back home against Vancouver on Saturday night (17th), and the Three Lions will be hosting our Two Year Anniversary party on the same night. The English Premier League kicks off on Saturday and Sunday morning, with early matches both days!
