Feature Matches
Things start off with a bang this week, as we feature Manchester United v Chelsea on Monday afternoon! These two heavyweights of the EPL meet for the first time this season, with the winner looking to make a statement early on. Other midweek highlights include Champions League playoff fixtures, Capital One Cup action, and the Supercopa de Espana 2nd Leg!

Friday afternoon the winners of the last two UEFA Champions League titles, Chelsea and Bayern Munich, face off in the UEFA Super Cup. This is a lunchtime fixture, pitting last year's Europa League winner against last year's Champions League winner. The match could be a preview of things to come in this year's Champions League competition, as both sides are pegged to have a great year. Friday evening we turn our attention to an important domestic match, as Salt Lake face Portland in a key Western Conference battle. RSL and Portland sit on either side of the Rapids in the standings, so I guess we hope for a draw, since both teams can't lose.

The weekend features some terrific football, starting with EPL early Saturday morning. Saturday's highlight match has our Colorado Rapids travelling away to take on Sporting K.C.! Sporting are one of the top teams in the East, and this will be a huge test for the Rapids. Gabriel Torres has yet to open his account with his new Club, and this would be the perfect game to get started!

The weekend finishes with a huge morning in EPL, with Liverpool taking on Manchester United (6:30am), followed by Arsenal hosting Tottenham at the Emirates (9am). Four great Clubs, and two great rivalries! Doors will open at 5:45am! The day finishes with La Liga and MLS action.

On the Horizon

Next week the USMNT face Costa Rica in a massive WCQ! The match falls on Friday night, and a win for USA sets them up to win the Hex! The Rapids travel to L.A. on Saturday to battle a Donavanless Galaxy!
