Feature Matches

The 2014/15 English Premier League season wraps up this week, with one match Wednesday afternoon, and all twenty teams playing at 8am Sunday morning.  Wednesday's fixture pits Sunderland against Arsenal in a meaningful match for both Clubs.  Sunderland need only a point to ensure they are not relegated to the Championship.  Arsenal need only a point from their last two matches to finish above Manchester United, and gaurantee a Champions League birth for next season.  Three points mid-week for the Gunners and they could potentially overtake Manchester City for second place on the last match day of the season.

Hull City must win their match against Manchester United to have any hope of avoiding relegation, and they'll have to rely on Newcastle losing or drawing against West Ham.  Newcastle are safe with a win, or a Hull loss.  Southampton, who face Manchester City, have the potential to earn a Europa League spot, but have to rely on Tottenham and Liverpool losing to have a chance.  It's been a great year in the EPL, and we are looking forward to celebrating the final day of the season with Denver's EPL fans!

Saturday night our Colorado Rapids are at home, facing the Vancouver Whitecaps who are perched a point off the top of the table in the Western Conference.  Reinforcements have arrived in the form of two strikers, Luis Solignac of Argentina and Kevin Doyle of Ireland.  Every Colorado fan is looking forward to seeing this new duo in action, as they are expected to jump start the Rapids offense!  The match kicks off at 7pm, and as always our Rapids Supporters Groups will be running shuttle service to DSG Park from the Pubs.

On the Horizon

Next week we have the Championship Playoff Final, the Europa League Final, and a Colorado Rapids away match to Seattle during the mid week.  On the weekend we feature the FA Cup Final, Copa Del Rey Final, a USWNT Friendly, a Home match for the Colorado Rapids against the Portland Timbers, and the final day of the Serie A season!
