Feature Matches

The Europa League Final falls Wednesday afternoon, with Ukrainian side Dnipro battling Spanish side Sevilla.  The winner will get a berth in the 2015/16 Champions League competition.  Wednesday evening we feature three MLS fixtures, including the Colorado Rapids away to Seattle!  The Rapids knocked off a top Western Conference opponent last weekend, and are presented with the oppurtunity to continue their climb up the table with a win over the Sounders.  Kicking off thirty minutes after the Rapids we have Portland facing D.C. United, and the L.A. Galaxy battling Salt Lake!  No trivia this week, just three terrific MLS fixtures to enjoy!

Saturday brings us two massive Cup Finals, the last warm up friendly for the U.S. women before the World Cup, and a home Rapids match!  First up, Arsenal take on Aston Villa in the FA Cup Final live from Wembley stadium in London!  Arsenal have had their best season in nearly ten years, and would love to cap it off with a bit of silverware.  Aston Villa fought their way out of relegation, finding some late season form, and now they have a chance to take home a trophy!  FA Cup glory will be on the line Saturday morning!  Barcelona have had a terrific year, and could be on their way to a treble!  The next step for the super Catalonians is winning the Copa del Rey, where they face Athletic Bilbao.  Bilbao, composed of homegrown players from the Basque region of Spain, have won the Copa del Rey twenty four times.  They are also one of the Clubs that has never been relegated from La Liga, having played in Spain's top division since 1929. This will be a well contested match for the Spanish Cup title.

Our USWNT has their final preparatory match before the 2015 Women's World Cup kicks off next week!  They battle South Korea with a Saturday afternoon kick off, as they fine tune their line up for their first match of the Cup versus Australia!

The Colorado Rapids will play their second match of the week against Western conference competition, when they face the Portland Timbers at DSG Park.  The match kicks off at 7pm, and our Rapids Supporters Groups will be running shuttle service to and from the match!

On the Horizon
