The Colorado Independent Supporters Organization would like to welcome supporters of teams visiting Denver for matches against the Rapids.

We believe that visiting fans add significantly to the atmosphere before, during & after Rapids games. Because of this, we have decided to introduce a policy to allow visiting supporters to be involved our matchday experience.

So whats the deal?

Visiting supporters are free to have a drink with us at one of our pre-game bars, either the Three Lions or the British Bulldog. Visiting supporters are also welcome to ride the Rapids Shuttle to & from downtown Denver to Dick's Sporting Good Park. The Shuttle usually runs from 3 hours before kick-off & will arrive back at the bars about an hour after the full time whistle.

Can we attend the supporters tailgate?

Yes - visiting supporters are welcome at the Stout Street Bulldogs Tailgate located in between Lots A & B (directly across from Gate B on the east side of the stadium).

Can you sell visiting supporters tickets?

Unfortunately we cannot sell visiting supporters tickets as we watch games from areas of the stadium that are for home fans only. Please purchase tickets directly from the Colorado Rapids & ask for the visiting supporters section.

Can you deal with large groups of visiting supporters?

While we can accommodate small groups who show up on the day, if you an organizer of a large (30+ people) group please contact us in advance so we can make any necessary arrangements. In the unlikely event we can't accommodate your group, we would be delighted to assist with any alternative pregame arrangements.

Are all visiting fans welcome?

CISO does not condone violence in any shape or form. If you are here to support your team, the MLS & USA soccer in general you will be made to feel welcome.

Its a trap, right?

No its not a trap! No harm will come to you, unless you count the hangover next day.

So why are we bothering with this?

As we live here, we know our city & our club better than anyone else, just like you know yours. We were kind of hoping that, when it is our turn to visit your city & club, you would return the favor & in particular the advice. No one wants to be stuck in a hotel that sucks in the middle of nowhere due to not knowing where the best places are. We want to make travelling away from home an awesome experience & help build a big tradition of people doing this in the MLS, just like in Europe.

Another point is that visiting supporters offer a unique view on their team & often have plenty of opinions about it too. Talking to you guys pre-game is a much better way to find out about the opposition than wading through pages on the internet or by watching MLS preview shows!
